2. Enrolment of New Patient by ASHA

The first step in providing NCD services is to register the beneficiary correctly. During household visits, ASHAs should first search to check whether the beneficiary is already registered. If no record is found, a new beneficiary can be enrolled. Correct registration helps prevent duplicate records and ensures that the beneficiary can receive screening, referral, treatment, and follow-up services.
